Bassein Catholic Co-Operative Bank is a scheduled urban co-operative bank headquartered in Vasai, Maharashtra. It began as a small credit co-operative society, created to bring financial freedom to the people of the Vasai region and to lift the community's living standards, education, and stability.

1. 1918Founded on February 6 by Rev. Msgr. P. J. Monis and local social activists as a small credit co-operative society.
2. 1966Converted into an urban co-operative bank.
3. 1990Conferred scheduled bank status by the Reserve Bank of India.
4. 2010Implemented Core Banking Software (CBS) across the Bank.
5. 2015Granted an Authorized Dealer Category-1 (AD-1) licence by the RBI for foreign exchange operations.
6. 2016Introduced net banking, alongside RuPay debit cards, ATMs, and SMS banking.
